*RT-PCR primers were created from the most conserved region of the N gene sequence which is universal known in all rabies viruses. These researchers reviewed the results from the RT-LAMP assay using multiple methods, gel electrophoresis, turbidity, and color change by HNB dye. The RT-LAMP assays success at detection and sensitivity were 100% comparable to RT-PCR.

  • RT-PCR primers were created from the most conserved region of the N gene sequence which is universal known in all rabies viruses. These researchers reviewed the results from the RT-LAMP assay using multiple methods, gel electrophoresis, turbidity, and color change by HNB dye. The RT-LAMP assays success at detection and sensitivity were 100% comparable to RT-PCR.
