MANTIS- Modular Antigen-Based Test for Infections Diseases
- point-of-care diagnostic, used in the field with minimal training and equipment
- Blood sample taken, antigens bound to CpxB on extracellular domain and CpxA activated which dimerizes CPxR which results in fluorescence which can be detected with 3D printed device- also stores GPS location
- Does not need protein purification, so much cheaper and less time, the cells can be grown in a few days
- Will require cell culturing course
